you can use the open field gate card to block opponnets trap bakugan if your oppenet has more gate cards.
if your using a full team 1 element, than use thier special grey gate cards and their special green ablity cards eg if your using aquas than use the river gate gate card and the ability card aquos
using the ablilty card colour swap will swap the elements of you and your oppenent. if your battling on your oppenents gate card you will gain his g bonus and you screw up his abilitys too. it is a win win for you, but this awesome ablity card only comes with the guanlet. Using the gunlet gives brawlers an advantegde in battle by the cards that come with them.
